An Odin Kiosk is an iPad mounted near a jobsite entrance that workers use to clock in and out. The worker walks up to the kiosk and holds their QR code badge in front of the camera. The kiosk scans the badge, verifies the worker’s identity, and checks that they meet the site’s access requirements. If everything passes, the kiosk admits the worker and records the event in their access history. If the worker does not meet a requirement, the kiosk denies entry and displays the reason.

What workers see

After scanning their badge, the kiosk displays one of the following:
  • Admitted — the worker is clocked in and cleared to enter the site.
  • Denied — the worker does not meet one or more access requirements. The screen shows the reason so the worker or a supervisor can resolve it.
