If your company places workers on jobsites that use Odin, a contractor account gives you one place to see your workforce across every site. You can view your workers’ profiles, documents, badges, and access activity; track their onboarding progress; and manage your company’s payment methods. Odin shows you only the data connected to your company: your workers, the jobsites you’re assigned to, and your subcontractors. Contractor access comes through the Contractor Admin role and is mostly read-only. Exceptions: you can update worker contact information, edit existing jobsite documents, share self-onboarding links, and manage your payment methods.

Get access to Odin

Contractor companies are created in Odin by the Odin team, so you don’t sign up for an account yourself. To request access to your company’s data, email onboarding@useodin.com with proof of your employment at the contractor. Please include one of the following with your request:
  • An email sent from an address at your company’s own domain (for example, jane@acme-electric.com), rather than a personal address
  • A letter on company letterhead, signed by an owner or officer, naming you and your role
  • A recent pay stub or employment verification showing your name and the company’s name, with pay amounts and personal identifiers blacked out
  • Written confirmation from the site team at a jobsite where your company is assigned, confirming you represent the contractor
Once the Odin team verifies your request, they’ll set up your account, and you can sign in to the Odin web portal.
Your account is tied to your contractor company, not to any single jobsite. You’ll see your workers and assignments across every jobsite where your company works.

See your workers

The Workers tab lists every worker your company has placed on an Odin jobsite. Open a worker to view their profile. From a worker’s profile, you can:
  • Update contact information. Edit the worker’s phone number and email address so they keep receiving onboarding links and announcements. This is the only worker information you can change.
  • View and edit jobsite documents. See the documents collected for the worker, such as OSHA cards, training certificates, and acknowledgments. You can edit an existing document’s details, but the site team adds new documents or uploads new versions.
  • View badges. See the badges assigned to the worker and whether each is active.
  • View access activity. See the worker’s individual clock-in and clock-out history.
All other changes to a worker, including trade, title, personal details, badges, and site access, are made by the jobsite’s site team. If something needs correcting, contact the site team for that jobsite.

Follow access activity across jobsites

The Access Activity tab shows a timeline of access events for all of your workers across every jobsite, in one view. Use it to see who clocked in where and when, whether each attempt was admitted or denied, and why any attempt was denied. Access activity is read-only for contractor accounts. If you need to correct or manually record an event, contact the jobsite’s site team.

Manage your company profile

Open your company from the Contractors tab to see everything connected to it in one place:
  • Jobsites — the jobsites your company is assigned to.
  • Subcontractors — the subcontractors working under your company.
  • Workers — the same worker list as the Workers tab, scoped to your company.
  • Payment methods — view, add, and update the payment methods used to bill your company for badges and other jobsite consumables. See Manage payment methods for the step-by-step, including how to assign different payment methods to different jobsites.

Onboard your workers, track progress, and pull reports

Get your workers started by generating a jobsite’s self-onboarding link and sending it to them. Each link is specific to one jobsite, so share the link for the site your company is assigned to. Workers complete onboarding from their own phone; see Self-onboarding for what they’ll step through. The Onboarding tab shows where each worker is in the onboarding process for each jobsite, using the same statuses described on the Onboarding page (Self-onboarding, Not started, Needs Medical, At Badging, Complete). Use it to spot workers who are stuck before they show up at the gate and get denied. The Reports tab lets you download the standard Odin access report for your workers.

What Contractor Admins can’t do

Contractor access is built for visibility, not site administration. The following actions belong to the jobsite’s site team, so contact them when you need one:
  • Manually create worker profiles or complete onboarding reviews
  • Edit worker information beyond phone number and email address
  • Add new worker documents or upload new document versions (editing an existing document is allowed)
  • Assign, deactivate, or replace badges
  • Suspend, ban, offboard, or restore a worker’s site access
  • Create, edit, or archive access events
  • Submit or edit jobsite logs and forms
If you have a crew ready to start, share the jobsite’s self-onboarding link with them. The site team takes it from there to review onboarding and issue badges.
