A log is a structured record of something that happened on your jobsite, such as work performed, an inspection completed, or a safety concern observed. In Odin, logs are how your team captures these records digitally so they’re standardized, searchable, and tied to the jobsite where they happened.

Types of logs

Odin provides two categories of logs:
  • Daily progress logs — used by superintendents and foremen to document labor, work performed, and production output. These support coordination, billing, and claims. See track daily progress for available log types.
  • Safety logs — used by safety managers and field crews to document hazards, incidents, inspections, and pre-task planning. These support compliance, accountability, and continuous improvement. See document safety for available log types.
The log types available for your jobsite are configured by your CSM on the Odin support team.

Create a log

Navigate to Logs in the main navigation, select +Add, and choose the log type. Select the Jobsite and any other required details, then click Continue to open the log form.
