Temporary badges give a worker short-term access to a jobsite while they wait for a permanent badge or are visiting temporarily.

Assign a temporary badge

When assigning a Temporary Badge to a worker, you will select from the list of available badges. Only badges in a Registered status and tied to the selected jobsite will appear in the list. You must then provide an expiration date and specify the reason for assigning the badge.
Assigning a temporary badge
Assigning a temporary badge overrides onboarding status, suspensions, bans, and access removal for inactivity. The worker will immediately have access to the jobsite. Once the badge is returned or expires, the worker’s access will return to whatever it was before the Temporary Badge was assigned.
If no badges are available in the temporary badge list, click Print more Temporary Badges to go to the jobsite’s temporary badge management page where you can print and register more.

Deactivate a temporary badge

You can deactivate a worker’s temporary badge from the Badges tab on their profile. Deactivating the badge removes it from the worker and returns it to the Registered state in the jobsite’s temporary badge pool, making it available for reassignment.
