# Update a worker's personal information
> Edit a worker's personal details like name, phone number, date of birth, and emergency contact
You can view and edit a worker's personal information from the **Overview** tab on their profile.
The **Edit** button opens a form where you can update the following fields:
| Information | Description |
| ------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Phone number | The worker's phone number. |
| Email address | The worker's email address. |
| Date of birth | The worker's date of birth. |
| Last 4 digits of SSN | The last 4 digits of the worker's social security number. |
| Race | The worker's race. |
| Gender | The worker's gender. |
| Emergency contact | The name, relationship, and phone number of the worker's emergency contact. |
| Address | The worker's street address, city, and state. |
| Address zip code | The worker's zip code. |
| Veteran status | Whether the worker is a veteran or not. |
| Citizenship status | Whether the worker is a citizen or not. |
| Work authorization status | Whether the worker is authorized to work in the US or not. |
