# Restrict access to your jobsite

> Understand how Odin controls who can access your jobsite based on onboarding status, documentation, and site-specific rules

Odin enforces a set of rules each time a worker attempts to enter your jobsite. If the worker does not meet the requirements, Odin denies entry and records the reason in the worker's [access activity](/control-access/access-activity).

## Onboarding status

A worker must complete [onboarding](/onboard-workers/onboarding-workflow) before they can access a jobsite. Workers with incomplete onboarding are denied entry.

## Required documentation

Your jobsite can require workers to have specific certifications or documents on file, such as a valid OSHA card or NYC SST card. If a required document is missing or expired, the worker is denied entry until their [documentation is updated](/onboard-workers/viewing-worker-documentation).

## Worker personal information

Your jobsite can enforce access based on personal information collected during onboarding. When a field is enforced, the value the worker or admin provides determines whether the worker is allowed on site. For example:

* **Citizenship status** — a worker marked as Non-Citizen could be denied entry
* **Work authorization status** — a worker not authorized to work in the US could be denied entry

## Geofencing

When a worker checks in with the mobile app, Odin can verify that they are physically near the jobsite. If configured, workers who attempt to check in from outside the geofence are denied entry.

## Configure access rules

Access rules are configured per jobsite. To add or change the rules for your jobsite, contact your CSM on the [Odin support](/support/customer-support) team.
